Lambley Multi-User Games facility

The Village Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) was officially opened by County Councillor John Cottee, and Dawn Edwards, one of the driving forces in organising the funding and construction of the facility. The scheme had been several years in the making and came to fruition after many volunteer hours of work, and financial contributions from both Parish and County Councils.

The facility will afford the opportunity for both the Village Primary School (during school hours) and the Community (at evenings and weekends), to play a variety of sports including basketball, hockey and football. Tennis may still be played in the original adjacent hard court. The MUGA is floodlit so it may be used in the evenings throughout the year.

A committee is currently being formed to manage the facility, but, in the meantime, enquiries should be directed to the Booking Secretary of the Village Hall Association.
