Lambley Village Hall
Catfoot Lane, Lambley, Nottingham, NG4 4QF
The Village Hall is a joint-use facility, shared between the community and Lambley Primary School, and is administered, on behalf of Lambley Parish Council, by Lambley Village Hall Association (LVHA), a registered Charity. It consists of a large Hall with stage, separate kitchen, and disabled toilet, in addition to a smaller Committee Room, which also has integral kitchenette facilities. The Hall is licensed to hold 140 people seated and 168 standing, and the Committee Room 40 persons, whether seated or standing. Off-road car parking is available for about 20 cars, including 3 disabled spaces closer to the building.
The Hall and Committee Room are available for hire for casual or regular events, and a wide range of activities take place, including sporting, artistic, and social. At present, there are several organisations who use the facility weekly, and a few monthly. The Parish Council hold their meetings in the Committee Room on the third Monday of each month and the venue is very popular for children's birthday parties.
At present, the facility is not fully caretakered. Hirers are requested to set up, and put away, tables and chairs by themselves, and LVHA rely that customers leave the facilities in a clean and orderly condition, ready for the next user. Cleaning tools and materials are accessible to hirers to use during their hire period, if necessary.
