Lambley Village Hall is a Joint Use facility with Lambley Primary School, which is remaining open during the pandemic. The Hall, and associated Committee Room, is now CLOSED as a venue for external events. It must be emphasised that it is not the intention of Lambley Village Hall Association (LVHA) to encourage the gathering of persons contrary to the advice of the Government. If you have already booked the Hall for a future social event, at present we must strongly advise that you reconsider and cancel, as an issue of Public Health.

The Village Hall is a joint-use facility, shared between the community and Lambley Primary School, and is administered, on behalf of Lambley Parish Council, by Lambley Village Hall Association (LVHA), a registered Charity. It consists of a large Hall with stage, separate kitchen, and disabled toilet, in addition to a smaller Committee Room, which also has integral kitchenette facilities. The Hall is licensed to hold 140 people seated and 168 standing, and the Committee Room 40 persons, whether seated or standing. Off-road car parking is available for about 20 cars, including 3 disabled spaces closer to the building.

The Hall and Committee Room are available for hire for casual or regular events, and a wide range of activities take place, including sporting, artistic, and social. At present, there are several organisations who use the facility weekly, and a few monthly. The Parish Council hold their meetings in the Committee Room on the third Monday of each month and the venue is very popular for children's birthday parties. The Hall and Committee Room are available from 18.00 on weekdays and all day at the weekends.

At present, the facility is not fully caretakered, but is cleaned every month. Hirers are requested to set up, and put away, tables and chairs by themselves, and LVHA rely that customers leave the facilities in a clean and orderly condition, ready for the next user. Cleaning tools and materials are accessible to hirers to use during their hire period, if necessary.

Some of our regular users are:

Lambley Women's Institute - Second Monday in each month

Nottingham Folk Dance Group - Every Tuesday

Whist Drive Group - Every Thursday

Kathy's Movers - Every Thursday

Children's Dance classes - Every Saturday 9:00 - 2:00

Lambley Parish Council - Every 3rd Wednesday in each month (except August)

Many weekends are booked for children's parties
